Browsers supported by Opa

Mozilla Firefox 3+ / Mozilla Mobile 1+

Opa applications work with Mozilla Firefox 3 on all platforms, with Mozilla Mobile 1.0 on all platforms and with more recent versions of these browsers.

Opa applications should also work with less famous versions of Mozilla Firefox, including all recent XulRunner applications, such as SongBird or Mozilla Prism, but for the moment, these platforms are not supported.

Google Chrome 5+

Opa applications work with Google Chrome 5 as well as more recent versions of this browser.

Apple Safari 3+ / Apple Safari Mobile 3+

Opa applications work with Apple Safari 3 on all platforms and Apple Safari Mobile 3 on all platforms, as well as more recent versions of these browsers.

Internet Explorer 8+ / Internet Explorer with Chrome Frame

Opa applications work with Internet Explorer 8. Older versions of Internet Explorer deviate noticeably from web standards, and should generally be upgraded to Internet Explorer 8. If you use an older version of Internet Explorer but cannot upgrade it, please consider installing Google Chrome Frame, to extend the capabilities of Internet Explorer and render it compatible with web standards.

Opera 9+

Opa applications work with Opera 9 on all platforms, as well as more recent versions.

Opa applications should also work with other variants of Opera including Opera Mobile, Nintendo DSi Browser and Wii Internet Channel. For the moment, however, these platforms are not officially supported by Opa.

On the other hand, the Opera Mini web browser lacks numerous features required by Opa. Currently, Opa applications cannot execute on Opera Mini.

Other browsers

Opa applications should work with recent versions of the following browsers:

• Nokia MicroB and Nokia Series 40 Browser
• Google Android Browser
• Palm WebOS Browser
• Iris Browser
• Fugu Browser
• Skyfire Mobile Browser
• xScope Brower.

For the moment, however, these platforms are not officially supported by Opa.
